Learning to communicate effectively for optimum results

“Communication Skills in the Classroom” is customized to the needs of instructors.   This workshop provides instruction and practice in how to convey information effectively and invite students to share their opinions.

The instructor will provide participants with effective communication tools and the reasons behind them. Each skill is presented and modeled before the class engages in role-play in order to practice the skill and receive coaching from an expert.  Participants are then invited to discuss how the skill might be applied in the classroom or laboratory with students and colleagues
