This workshop focuses on the practical application of the project management process and tools. Participants are asked to bring an actual project to class so they can apply the skills learned directly to a real experience. We cover project definition, planning and implementation as well as anticipation of obstacles and opportunities, budgeting and communication and resource scheduling across multiple projects.
This workshop will provide you with the skills to:
Create and review project definitions
Develop objectives and scope
Assign levels and priority to each project
Review work breakdown structures
Identify resource requirements
Plan the following for projects both current and future
Assign responsibility
Sequence deliverables
Schedule deliverables
Schedule resources
Anticipate issues and opportunities
Monitor the implementation of concurrent and consecutive projects.
Start the project for maximum performance
Monitor the project
Modify the project if necessary and define the impact of the modification
Close each project and evaluate performance
