Helping employees learn to separate fact from fiction
This workshop will provide you with the skills to help your employees commit to analyze and evaluate documents, proposals and presentations by following the steps and method of critical thinking.
This workshop is designed to introduce the concept and process of critical thinking. Participants learn about definition and structure through lecture and exercises. We cover the steps to critical thinking as well as conditions and the Socratic Method. Given the depth of the subject matter and the length of the course, we focus on simple skills useful in day-to-day activities such as document review and proposal writing, as well as how to identify missing information in presentations in order to make more informed decisions.
Managing Critical Thinking Skills focuses on both the steps to critical thinking and how to coach your employees to be better critical thinkers.
This workshop will provide your managers with skills to:
Identify the question
Form a hypothesis
Gather data
Logically test the hypothesis
Draw reliable conclusions based on knowledge they can support
Look for and instill critical thinking skills in their employees
